About 25,000 people work at the Defense Logistics Agency, which calls itself the nation's logistics combat support agency and manages a defense supply chain that runs from raw materials to end-user disposition for the five military services, eleven combatant commands, other government agencies, and partner nations. The catalog covers food, clothing and textiles, bulk fuel, construction material, medical supplies, and repair parts for land, sea, and air systems; the agency provided more than $51.8 billion in goods and services in fiscal 2025.
