The whole system traces back to a 10-room hospital in downtown Baltimore, opened in 1866. LifeBridge Health now runs five acute care centers: Sinai Hospital on West Belvedere Avenue, Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, Carroll Hospital out in Westminster, Levindale on that same stretch of West Belvedere, and Grace Medical Center on West Baltimore Street. Around them sit a medical group of more than 130 locations across Maryland and a Wellness Division, held through LifeBridge Investments, whose subsidiaries run health and wellness programs. The system counts over a million patient touchpoints a year.
The system is not one employer so much as several under one name: five separately branded hospitals, a medical group, and a wellness arm held through LifeBridge Investments. Workforce data, job structures, and staffing analysis all have to reconcile across those corporate lines before anyone can read the system as a whole.
