About the Position: Serves as the Classification Branch Chief in a Civilian Human Resources Service Center (CHRSC). This announcement will be used to fill one position at various locations.
- Providing expert technical guidance on complex, controversial, or unprecedented classification issues.
- Planning and assigning work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, and overseeing the training and development of subordinate HR Specialists.
- Serving as the subject matter expert on classification appeal procedures, compensation strategies, and the use of automated classification tools and systems
- Developing and/or implementing command-wide human resources policies and programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Analyzing and/or resolving the most complex and sensitive issues related to position classification, organizational design, and pay administration.
