The FRTIB is looking for a highly qualified and motivated individual to serve as a Supervisory Benefits Specialist. This Job Opportunity Announcement (JOA) may be used to fill other Supervisory Benefits Specialist, GS-0301-14 positions within the FRTIB in the same geographical location with the same qualifications and specialized experience.
- Serves as a senior expert on Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) benefits and provides guidance on policies, procedures, and customer service.
- Leads reviews of TSP benefits policies and procedures to identify improvements and ensure services are effective and efficient.
- Oversees stakeholder engagement and coordination between contracted service providers and partner federal agencies.
- Provides direction and oversight to contractors who support TSP benefits programs and operations.
- Reviews complex or unusual benefits issues and makes decisions when standard processes do not resolve the matter.
