• Serving as a Human Resources Specialist (Employee Relations/Labor Relations) GS-0201-11/12 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is within the Workforce Relations Branch (WRB), Human Capital Office (HCO), under the Mission and Readiness Support Directorate (MRSD) and located as assigned. Typical duties include: Advising managers about appropriate disciplinary or other corrective techniques that are responsive to a range of conduct and performance problems. Advising both the union and management on contract administration issues, interpreting contract language, providing advice and assistance on the impact of negotiated labor agreements on day-to-day operations, and assisting in accomplishing required process and procedures. Advising managers and employees about premium pay issues to include overtime, compensatory time, compensatory time for travel, authorized overtime unscheduled, night differential, Sunday premium pay Advising managers and supervisors on performance management programs.
