You will serve as a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Employee and Labor Relations) with Office of the Secretary of Interior.
- This is a Merit Promotion announcement for current Department of Interior (DOI) Office of the Secretary (OS) employees in the Office of Policy, Management, and Budget (PMB), or a current employee of the Interior Business Center (IBC), or CTAP eligible. Organizational Position Title is Branch Chief. Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Plans, implements and evaluates Department-wide ER/LR programs to address current and emerging workforce challenges. Supervises employee relations specialists implementing reasonable accommodation programs by analyzing workload, setting and managing priorities, assigning work and monitoring employee performance. Advises senior leadership on employee and labor relations risks, workforce impacts and strategic options. Establishes governance routines for assigned programs, including dashboards, compliance reviews and leadership touchpoints.
