About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency. It is located at the Kenner Army Health Clinic at Fort Lee, Virginia. The primary purpose of the Human Resources Assistant position is to provide support to the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) is improving the recruitment and retention of civilian personnel within the (MTF). This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
- Provide administrative management of the Defense Management and Appraisal Program (DPMAP).
- Conduct individual and group in processing for new Military Treatment Facility civilian employees.
- Serve as a primary point of contact and representative for the Military Treatment Facility civilian awards program.
- Advise on civilian personnel programs and policies in the areas such as position management, classification and recruitment and placement.
- Support drug testing and task management requirements.
