Department of Agriculture
The position is in the US Department of Agriculture, Departmental Administration, Office of Human Resources Management, Human Resources Enterprise Systems Management Division which manages the strategic alignment of enterprise systems to support the HR business strategy. The incumbent provides program management oversight for HR information systems deployed throughout USDA. This is a 1 year detail/temporary promotion. This assignment may end earlier or be extended based on the manager's needs.
- Advises managers and human resources staff on in the technical aspects of the respective Human Resources Information Systems module.
- Conducts testing on assigned portions of new or enhanced Human Resources Information Systems products.
- Develops and retrieves reports (canned, ad hoc, queries, etc. from application systems as identified, conducts analyses, and recommends proposed action.
- Develops and tests analytic reports to ensure management has accurate workforce statistics depicted in graphic formats, as tools for strategically managing the workforce.
- Develops associated user procedures, guidelines, SOPs and training materials.
