Hill Air Force Base near Ogden hosts Air Force Materiel Command's logistics complex, the Department of the Interior keeps regional offices in Salt Lake City, and the VA medical center hires HR specialists, all through USAJOBS. The other half is Salt Lake City and the Silicon Slopes corridor down to Lehi. Intermountain Health, University of Utah Health, the software companies, and manufacturers such as BD in Sandy hire generalists and employee relations staff there, and Southern Utah University in Cedar City adds the occasional campus position.
