About the Position: Serves as the Director of a Civilian Human Resources Service Center (CHRSC) providing labor and management employee relations (LMER) support to Army Staff, Army Command (ACOM), Army Service Component Command (ASCC), and/or Direct Reporting Unit (DRU) customers. The CHRSC is located within a Civilian Services Civilian Human Resources Directorate in the Civilian Human Resources Agency (CHRA). This announcement will be used to fill one position at various locations.

  • Plans and directs a Civilian Services Civilian Human Resources Directorate which provides civilianpersonnel services to a large and/or multi-mission civilian work force.
  • Provides guidance to leaders on personnel policies, regulatory requirements, and workforce management issues to support effective mission execution.
  • Serves as advisor to Army Staff, Army Command (ACOM), Army Service Component Command (ASCC) and/or Direct Reporting Unit (DRU) commanders, managers and senior staff.
  • Advises on operational labor relations and management employee relations issues, policies, broad labor relations concerns, and other complex processes.
  • Provides advisory services on management-employee relations actions.
