- As a Human Resources Specialist, you will: Provide comprehensive HR advisory and consultative services to managers, supervisors, and customers on a full range of human resources issues; interpreting laws, regulations, policies, orders, and decisions; develops alternatives; and provides authoritative recommendations on HR programs and operations Perform Federal recruitment, staffing, and placement activities, including advising management on recruitment strategies and hiring mechanisms, conducting job analyses and qualification determinations, applying appointing authorities, and ensuring recruitment actions comply with merit system statutes, regulations, and delegated examining requirements. Analyze and resolve complex or sensitive HR issues Participate in HR studies and cross-functional teams; and develop findings, recommendations, policy guidance, procedural improvements, or solutions to HR program issues and barriers. Perform the full spectrum of staffing and recruitment services, including developing and posting vacancy announcements, evaluating applicants, issuing certificates, reviewing selections, extending job offers, coordinating onboarding, and processing associated personnel and pay actions.
