Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO), Human Resources Management and Services (HRMS) The primary purpose of this position is to perform HR payroll and processing duties and serve as team lead providing oversight, advisory services, and support for payroll, processing and automated time and attendance programs. Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.
- As a Lead Human Resources Specialist, GS-0201-13, your typical work assignments may include: Leading and collaborating with management in employing change process concepts and techniques by assessing organizational readiness for change. Marketing organizational awareness and leading change initiatives. Planning, organizing and directing team work and in negotiating effectively with management to accept and implement HR recommendations that involve substantial agency resources. Developing recommendations for legislation that would modify the way the agency conducts its HR programs, and evaluating new or modified legislation and regulations for their impact on existing programs. Evaluating and making recommendations concerning overall plans and proposals for complex payroll and processing agency HR projects.
