This position is located in the DEA, Human Resources Division, Human Resources Data & Systems Section (HRX), Information Systems Team (HRXI). This position(s) primary purpose is to serve as a subject matter expert on the design, configuration, optimization, and strategic use of automated human resources information systems (HRIS) supporting agency-wide workforce management.
- As a Human Resources Specialist (Information Systems), your typical work assignments may include: Conducts independent, in-depth research into complex system problems involving multiple HR programs or interfaces. Interprets and applies IT security policies for systems processing multiple HR applications with varying sensitivity and access requirements. Supports the implementation, integration, or transition of new HR systems or applications, including testing, validation, change management support, and end-user readiness. Serves as a liaison among HR functional areas to resolve competing data requests, reconcile conflicting requirements, and ensure consistent application of system rules and standards across the organization.
